The Mind Behind the Mind
Awareness is not a thought you have — it is the space in which every thought appears.

The witness is already here
Most seekers look for a better thought. The older traditions point somewhere else entirely: to the one who notices thought at all.
Begin with what is closest
Sit. Do not fix your breath. Simply ask, without answering in words, *who is aware right now?* The question is a lever, not a riddle.
Why it matters
When you locate awareness, fear loses its landlord. Grief still arrives, but it rents a room instead of owning the house.
Practice this for ten minutes a day for a month and the results are not mystical — they are structural.
